Return to In-Person Worship – January 30, 2022

Coronavirue (COVID-19) church update
COVID-19 Updates

January 25, 2022

Dear Members and Friends of CCEH,

We appreciate the grace and patience of everyone for our return to Zoom only worship the past three Sundays of January 9, 16 and 23. As promised in our January 5 message, we want to share our re-evaluation of this situation for this coming Sunday, January 30, and beyond. Given that the positivity numbers for the highly contagious variant of COVID-19 are declining, and that many of us that contracted the variant are now better, we think it is reasonably safe to return to our previous hybrid formant for Sunday, January 30.

This means that the sanctuary will be open for in person worship along with the usual access to online worship via Zoom. We do, however, strongly recommend that everyone continue to wear a mask when indoors at the church building and that people who are ill or may have been exposed to COVID participate through Zoom.

Some key calendar items to keep in mind:
January 30 – CCEH Annual Meeting, and Rev. Jim’s final Sunday.
February 6 – Rev. Amie McCarthy’s first Sunday with us.

Note: Other groups or events can decide for themselves how they want to proceed.

We appreciate your understanding and concern for the welfare of all,

Jerry Gerkey, Moderator
Mary DeCoursey, Deacon Chair
Rev. Jim Latimer, Pastor
